Would love to experience this bar when I come of age. It looks like a storied establishment, and honestly just a good time. (I live in Ithaca). Would definitely try any pub food in the mean time~~

Gables Inn was formerly a brothel. It's now home to men who cannot work or men who are just starting up again. Well kept. Clean and neat. The owner has kept the old wood so it has historic charm.
Great Hoffman hotdogs and homemade fries. Limited bar menu, but ohhhhh sooooo good. John Morton the owner gives good conversation on many subjects while you enjoy your meal and drink
